1. Follow the AMA Safety Code.
2. Call out low-flying full-scale aircraft so all pilots are aware of human-carrying aircraft in the area.
3. The safety line is the western (closest to the pits) edge of the runway. Do not overfly the pits or vehicle parking area.
4. Engine starts need to be on or adjacent to the starting stands.
5. No taxiing in the pits.
6. Takeoff roll should be from the runway centerline and out.
7. Hand launch away from the pits and spectators.
8. All passes (low speed, high speed, gear checks, etc.) need to be runway centerline and out.
9. Aircraft in the air have right-of-way over aircraft on the ground. All pilots need to announce “taking off” and “landing”. Emergency (dead stick/flame out) aircraft have priority over all other aircraft.
10. No more than 4 aircraft in the air.
11. If multiple aircraft are in the air, pilots stand within talking distance to notify each other of their aircraft’s position, otherwise use a spotter.
12. Keep directed energy (flight toward the safety line) pointed away from the pits and spectators.
13. No flying before noon (12:00 p.m.) local time on Sundays.
14. No flying during funerals at the cemetery across the street. Please wait until the funeral is over.
15. Members are responsible for their guests and must brief them on these field rules.
